Dine Under the Lights in Downtown San Rafael

The Dining Under the Lights program is returning! It will run every Thursday in Downtown and the West end with an extra Friday night block party in the West End, weather permitting. Thanks to the overwhelming support of the local community in wanting enjoy the streets of our Downtown.

Certain blocks on Fourth Street & B Street will be closed to traffic for alfresco on-street dining on Thursdays from 6–10 pm. Similar to last year, some restauranteurs will arrange tables on the street for a romantic European feel under the glimmering overhead Tivoli lights.

The San Rafael Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) spearheaded the overhead lights and DUTL on-street dining programs partnering with the City of San Rafael and SRPD in 2020 and it has grown to be loved by the community and businesses alike.

Marin residents and business owners are encouraged to enjoy and support our amazing and resilient restaurants often, but especially on Thursday nights.
