Creative Team Selected to Lead New Public Art Installations in Downtown San Rafael
The Downtown San Rafael Arts District (DSRAD) is excited to announce the selection of Local Edition Creative as the lead implementor for a major new public art initiative in Downtown San Rafael. This project aims to enhance downtown vitality through the creation of five new art installations on public property. The City has identified at least five key locations for the artwork, which will reflect the diverse local community and surrounding landscape. DSRAD has allocated money received from a California Arts Council (CAC) art fund for the development and complete installation of these pieces, which are expected to be unveiled by next summer.
