No appointments are required and the vaccine is FREE and available to everyone age 12+, regardless of insurance coverage or immigration status.

Even if DUTL is canceled, several restaurants cafes, breweries, and bars may still be serving outside on their parklets during their usual business hours and many offer indoor dining, take-out and delivery. Please check with your favorite restaurant for details, hours and reservations “Know before you go!”

The Dining Under the Lights program is back as of March 2021. Fourth Street will be closed to traffic for alfresco on-street dining on Thursdays & Fridays from 5–9 PM under the glimmering overhead Tivoli lights.
Look for restaurants and bars on the side streets as well that are participating. (Lincoln Ave.,A, B & C Streets) Check for the status to see if it is going here on this page. It would only cancel due to severe weather.
Meanwhile....many restaurants and bars are now serving daily meals inside and/or outside on their sunny sidewalks or patios during their usual business hours as well as offering take-out and delivery. Please check with your favorite restaurant for hours and reservation requirements. “Know before you go!”

The San Rafael Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) spearheaded the overhead lights and on-street dining programs, partnering with the City of San Rafael and the SRPD.

Come support local farmers and continue our 30+ year tradition of welcoming the Farmer's Market to Downtown. They will be adding to the Thursday night fun of Dining Under The Lights. The new location will be on Fourth Street between B and D Streets.
