Exciting News: The return of a dedicated San Rafael Police officer to patrol our Downtown! (draft)

We are pleased to welcome the return of a dedicated San Rafael Police officer to patrol our Downtown area. Officer Sanchez currently patrols the corridor from the freeway to the West End, including all side streets between 2nd Street and 5th Avenue, on duty Tuesday through Friday. In the coming months, the San Rafael Police Department plans to add a second officer in a patrol car, increasing safety and visibility throughout Downtown. By or before summer, we will have two officers committed to patrolling and enhancing the Downtown experience.
