Downtown San Rafael Adopt an Intersection Project 2025

The San Rafael Business Improvement District (BID) is seeking a dedicated group or organization to adopt intersections along 4th Street in Downtown San Rafael to enhance their appearance year-round. This is a fantastic opportunity for a local nonprofit, community group, or landscaping organization to make a visible impact on our downtown environment.

Scope of Work:

• Maintain and beautify designated intersections along 4th Street.
• Apply mulch to intersections without water access.
• Plant and maintain greenery in intersections with water access.
• Ensure intersections remain clean and aesthetically pleasing throughout the year.
• Coordinate with BID on maintenance schedules and any necessary improvements.

Compensation: The BID has allocated $3,000 to support the organization that takes on this important project.

• Community groups, nonprofits, or organizations with experience in landscaping, gardening, or urban beautification.
• Groups with a passion for enhancing public spaces and maintaining a vibrant downtown.
• Organizations that can commit to year-round maintenance and care.
