Welcoming Madge & Me Hats, 1570 4th Street, to our Downtown!

Message from Laurie:

Madge & Me is a maker and purveyor of hats, headwear and accessories for women and men. Laurie Berliner, is the owner and milliner. Madge is her Cardigan Welsh corgi companion. We sell custom and ready to wear, everyday and special event hats, headwear, and handcrafted silk flowers made in the shop, as well as a curated selection of headwear and accessories by other manufacturers.

We recently relocated from San Anselmo where we have been in business since February 2020, to a larger space in San Rafael. Our new atelier is situated between The Kitchen Table Restaurant and Red Hill Pet Center. We are busy renovating the space to bring vibrancy and “hat happiness” to the West End of 4th Street.

We will announce our official reopening date, sometime in mid March, very soon. In the meantime, you are all welcome to stop by, see the new iteration of our handmade hat shop in progress, and say hello to Madge and me!
