San Rafael Arts District Celebration, July 10

Join us for an evening of art, storytelling, delicious food, and good vibes in the Downtown San Rafael Arts District!

Start the evening at the iconic Smith Rafael Film Center for an insightful discussion with three muralists who created site-specific public artworks for the 2026 Public Art Program. The artist talk begins at 5pm on July 10 and has a limited theater capacity of 129 guests, so RSVP now to reserve your tickets.

  • Artist Talk: 5pm - 6pm in Theater Two; Doors open at 4:30pm
  • Artists:
    • Bryan Valenzuela - C Street Garage Mural
    • Paz de la Calzada - City Plaza Fountain Mural & Tile Artwork
    • Wyatt Hersey - 2nd Street Retaining Wall Mural
  • Due to the limited number of seats available in the theater, please only RSVP if you will be attending.

Additional highlights for the evening include (no RSVP required, all are free to attend):

  • 2nd Friday Art Walk featuring over 50 artists across 32 studios, including the Ceramic Art Center of Marin - the only dedicated ceramic art gallery in Marin County. Art Walk Hours: 5pm - 8pm.
  • The Summer Market presented by Agricultural Institute of Marin with local food & drinks, handcrafted goods, and live music. Summer Market Hours: 5pm - 9pm.
  • Hands-on creative activities fun for all ages presented by Youth In Arts at the Summer Market
