Join the Streets to Creeks Litter Reduction Day – Sept 4th

Join the County Friday, September 4 from 9–11 AM for a community clean-up in Downtown San Rafael! Help beautify the Downtown, remove litter before it reaches our waterways, and make a visible difference in just a couple of hours.

Check-in begins at 8:30 AM at City Plaza (1000 4th St). Many hands make light work, so grab a friend, coworker, or neighbor and join us!

Downtown San Rafael has been selected to participate in the EPIC (Every Piece Inspires Change) Campaign, a community initiative focused on reducing litter, protecting our waterways, and creating a cleaner, more welcoming downtown environment.

Participating businesses can help by hosting a fun "Creek Critter" window decal, displaying a small counter sign that explains the campaign, sharing the effort on social media, and optionally participating in a community cleanup kickoff event.

Businesses that participate may be recognized as a Clean Business and listed as a community partner supporting a cleaner, greener Marin.
